ABOUT

Sarita Jaccard is a Los Angeles-based landscape architect and designer whose work blends ecology, art, and a deep respect for the natural world. Her practice approaches each landscape not only as a visual composition, but an interconnected system rooted in local native ecologies. Sarita's approach navigates the living dialogue among steward, observer, flora and fauna. Her philosophy is the belief that landscapes carry memory, underpinning her studio's support for Indigenous land rights and recognition of the cultural and ecological lineages embedded in place. Sarita has been featured on the cover of Vogue Latin America and notable publications including Architectural Digest and Wallpaper Magazine.  Currently, her studio's focus is on public spaces, using site-responsive design to restore balance between built environments and the natural world.
